Termination of all U.S. Loran-C signals  -  USCG will terminate transmission of all U.S. Loran-C signals effective 2000z 08 Feb 2010.  At that time, the U.S. Loran-C signal will be unusable.  U.S. participation in the Russian-American and Canadian Loran-C chains will continue temporarily in accordance with international agreements.

Raymarine Recall  -  Raymarine has initiated a voluntary recall of the SPX5 Sport Drive Pilot units on sale since February 2009.  Customers should stop using the product immediately and arrange de-installation and return to the retailer/dealer where purchased for a replacement or, if preferred, refund.

Suzuki Motors Recalls Outboard Engine Models DF200, DF225 & DF250  -   some units may have a flywheel defect that could cause serious injuries.  Owners of Suzuki outboard engine models DF200, DF225 & DF250 should read the Suzuki Motors Recall document before using these engines.

TYPE V PFD CO2 CYLINDER SAFETY NOTICE  -  bayonet tip CO2 cylinders that are not properly installed in inflatable Lifejackets will not inflate Lifejacket when triggered.  Individuals with inflatable Lifejackets should check to see if unit has a bayonet tip CO2 cylinder.
